The S-1 switch adds 5 more pickup combinations to the 5 already offered by standard Strato wiring. When not in use, the S-1 switch doesn't affect standard Strat wiring: •Position one: bridge only •Position two: bridge and middle wired in parallel •Position three: middle only •Position four: middle and neck wired in parallel •Position five: neck only The S-1 switch adds 5 additional pickup wiring options when engaged: •Position one: bridge and middle in series •Position two: bridge and middle in series with .01uF capacitor •Position three: neck and bridge in parallel with middle pickup in series •Position four: neck and middle pickup in series with .01uF capacitor •Position five: neck and middle in series The Lace Holy Grail is the ultimate hum cancelling, vintage toned guitar pickup; the tone of a '54 Strat without all the noise!!
