LeBron James, born on 30th December 1984 in Akron (Ohio) is an American professional basketball player. He currently plays for the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Measuring 2.06 m and weighing 113 kg, he has the opportunity to play both small forward, power forward and point guard. He is considered one of the best players in NBA history. He is nicknamed "King James" or "The Chosen One". He is also a two-time Olympic champion with Team USA in 2008 and 2012. He set many early individual records. LeBron James was named Rookie of the Year in 2004 and won the regular season MVP four times (in 2009, 2010, 2012 and 2013). He was named NBA champion and Finals MVP in 2012 and 2013 with the Miami Heat, in 2016 with the Cleveland Cavaliers, and in 2020 with the Los Angeles Lakers. Over his career, LeBron James is the 3rd most prolific scorer in NBA history. In 2019, James was voted Male Athlete of the Decade by The Associated Press. LeBron James was selected 16 times in the All-NBA Team (a record) including 13 in the five majors (record) and selected 17 times in the NBA All-Star Game including three where he won the title of MVP. In 2008, he won the title of top scorer with 30 points per game. In the playoffs, he is also the top scorer (7,491 points), the 2nd best passer (1,871 assists), the 6th best rebounder (2,348 rebounds), the best interceptor (445) and the player with the most games (266). He is also the only player to have won the Finals MVP title with 3 different franchises.
